Sticker Mule reached out immediately after they saw my review and worked to find out what issues I had. Turns out I misunderstood and they were very kind. One of the reasons for the darker look was that there was a protective film covering that I didn't know about, so once I peeled it off it was much better! Also, they gave helpful recommendations to improve legibility/font size. All in all, they worked to make sure we were satisfied.
